Vesterbro Composers Guild, komvest, a union of younger composers, established in Copenhagen 1999. The main purpose is the formation of a forum for new choral music, to be presented mainly in the churces of Vesterbro in Copenhagen by the koncert choir of the union. The reestablishment of a dedicated or idiomatic vocal music style like that of the Renaissance is a common goal among the members.
